Budget/Bajet Percutian 3H 2M ke Pulau Langkawi

Assalamualaikum semua,

Saya nak kongsikan serba sedikit bajet percutian kami ke Pulau Langkawi masa cuti sekolah March 2018 ye. Kos ni mungkin akan jadi lebih kurang/sedikit if pergi bukan time school break.
Untuk yang nak jadikan rujukan, silakan.
Harap tak ada yang berfikiran negatif bila saya share bajet ni ye.

Pinggan Mangkuk shoppig tu saya tak ingt berapa details , hahahahah. nak kata membeli banyak sangat tu tak jugak, tapi ada la jugak. sebab husband memang xkisah I prepare barang2 rumah utk rumah kitaorg since mmg perlu in the future especially bila tetamu bnyk datang kan.

Ok, untuk details2 lain, boleh jenguk entry2 berkaitan Langkawi ye.

Langkawi 2018: Day 2- Dataran Lang & Pantai Rhu

Assalamualaikum you all, 

Jom, sambung entry Langkawi ye. Kalau dah ke Langkawi tu, tak sah la trip if tak bergambar dengan burung helang yg jadi mercu tanda kebangaan Langkawi. 

Lokasi Dataran Lang ni dekat Jetty Kuah. Memang betul2 berhadapan laut di jetty tu. One problem dekat sini ialah parking space! Walaupun banyak parking space yg disediakan di sini, still susah nak mencari tempat parking yg kosong. Sebab kebanyakkan parking lots di sini telah di occupied oleh kereta2 sewa yg menunggu pelancong tiba, or orang Langkawi yg parking kereta kat situ utk membeli belah di mall di jetty Kuah ni.

Selain masalah parking space yg susah nak dapat, masalah cramp/jem pun one of the problem. Disebabkan kawasan ni sgt busy because main jetty to Langkawi and now dorang dah bina complex mall dekat sini yg lengkap dengan fast food restaurants, kedai kopi berjenama, shopping lots etc, maka sangatlah ramai pengunjung yg datang. Kenderaan yg nak drop off passengers untuk ke jetty pon jadi packed, sampai tak boleh nak gerak. 

Mulanya, kitaorg dah malas nak ke Dataran Lang because of these problems la. Tapi memikirkan entah bila lagi nak datang ke Langkawi ni, maka pusing2 jugak lah sampai jumpa parking space yg available. One more thing, parking kat sini, kena pakai kupon parking yer. Tapi we all tak sempat nak cari kupon tu kat any kedai, so we all just gamble parking je la without the coupon. 

Dah pukul 6 ptg ni, tapi matahari still terik. Haruslah pakai shades besar ni. 

Actully this is not a real shades utk bergaya sangat pon, it is more to protection from UV light, memang we all beli dekat optometrist and khas utk orang yg specky like us. That's why it looks extra big to accommodate our original spec inside that, hahah. 

Orang sgt lah ramai kat sini! mujur kawasan dia lapang and luas. so kids can still stroll around berlari sana sini. Pergi musim school holiday, what to expect kan. 

Ni dah jauh sikit from the front view. kat belakang tu penuh umat manusia. 

kat area blkg yg bukit2 sikit tu kawasan hotel kitaorg. so De Baron Resort sgt dekat dengan jetty kuah you all. view dataran lang pon nampak sayup2 from our hotel. 

From Dataran Lang, we all drive northward to Pantai Rhu. Pantai Rhu ni bukan pilihan ramai, sebab x banyak kemudahan water sports and other facilities disediakan. Lebih kepada orang yg nak cari privacy. Kat area kampung2 jugak.

Perjalanan from Dataran Lang to Pantai Rhu took us about 30 minutes through the scenic view of the limestone and greeneries.

Cuma dekat sini, sangat tenang and damai. Sebab x ramai pelancong, yg ada pun 2-3 orang minah saleh tengah sun bathing and few local kids and their mothers relaxing on the beach. Few food stalls are opened

Since dah almost Maghrib, we did not allow the kids to swim. Just main pasir je.

Langkawi 2018 Day 2- Makam Mahsuri

Assalamualaikum.. 

Now baru nak sambung entry for cuti2 kat Langkawi masa school holiday March haritu. 

Lepas makan tgh hari, kitaorg gi Makam Mahsuri. 

Location Makam Mahsuri ni dekat Mukim Ulu Melaka. 

Kalau google, harga tiket masuk untuk adults RM7, but actually dah naik harga, for adults with MyKad is RM12. 

Sekeliling kawasan Makam Mahsuri ni, ada banyak gerai2 jual souvenir and jual makanan ringan. nak beli souvenir kat sini pon boleh , tapi I am not sure la harga dia mcm mana sebab kitaorg mmg x beli any souvenir Langkawi bawa balik pon this time around. 

What's inside the Makam Mahsuri complex? 

Sepanjang dari pintu masuk ke betul2 perkuburan mahsuri tu, kena jalan dalam kawasan indoor. ada pameran cara hidup orang melayu di Langkawi pada zaman Mahsuri. Macam mini muzuim la. 

dalam tu pon ada 2-3 stalls jual souvenir. 

Keluar dlm kawasan berbumbung, terus ke Makam Mahsuri. 

sebelah makam tu ada banyak rumah tradisional Melayu yg menunjukkan suasana perkampungan Melayu masa dulu. boleh naik atas rumah2 tu. 

Ni rumah penghulu. yg paling besar dan dijadikan muzium.

Ilyaas dgn Imani seronok jugak la kat sini sbb dorg mmg x pernah pon merasa duduk kat perkampungan melayu yg real betul2 pakai atap nipah etc. 

Lepas keluar masuk rumah2 tu, kitaorg ke Perigi Mahsuri. 

Air dia sejuk of course la sbb from sumber bawah tanah kan. 

Ada banyak kisah kata air perigi ni berkhasiat, dan sebagainya. Wallahualam. 

Kawsan sawah padi dekat belakang perigi tu. cantik, cuma dah lepas musim menuai sekarang ni.

Tak jauh from perigi tu ada jualan kuih tradisional melayu macam loyang and karas. 

I beli la sikit nak rasa. Sedap! 

Sangat sedap. menyesal pulak beli sikit. 

Berdepan dgn stalls ni ada kawasan dewan utk pertunjukkan majlis berendoi. i xsure timing utk pertunjukkan tu pukul berapa. 

Lepas settle kat bahagian outdoor, kitaorg masuk balik ke indoor side of the complex. continue mcm muzium style and ada pementasan (yg ditayangkan kat tv) tentang penceritaan semula kisah hidup Mahsuri etc. ok jugak la, bila dah tgk pementasan tu, Ilyaas dah tak tanya banyak soalan sbb dah terjawab from the video itself. heheheh. 

Utk yg sukakan sejarah, sesuai la pergi sini. 

Langkawi 2018 Day 2 - SkyCab @ Cable Car

Hi you all, 

Jom sambung cerita holiday kat Langkawi. 

On day 2, we all semua bangun awal. Lepas subuh takde sambung golek2 tidur lagi, anak2 pon bangun awal sebab dah inform dorang sebelum tidur that we have to get ready early untuk naik cable car. After all, cable car ni one of the most attraction yg paling popular dekat Langkawi, memang confirm orang akan sangatlah ramai. So, kitaorg atur strategi utk arrive as early as we can. Usually opening hours dia at 9am, tapi sebab cuti sekolah, dia bukak at 8.30am. 

Bertolak from De Baron Resort dalam pukul 8.10am. Kitaorg breakfast roti dalam kereta je. Memang x amik pakej breakfast dekat hotel. We reach Oriental Village around 8.40am. 

Dekat sini ada 2 jenis parking zone. Primer parking yg lebih dekat jaraknya dengan Oriental Village while normal parking RM3 for the 1st hour lepas tu kena charge RM1. 

Yg primer parking tu RM10 utk per entry. Sesuai la kalau korang bawa orang kurang upaya, or warga emas.

at the 1st pit stop, middle station. you can choose to keluar dari cable car and amik gambar dekat sini dulu or boleh stay inside your cable car and teruskan perjalanan ke top station.
we did not go out the cable car.
Kitaorg malas nak turun sini sbb nanti kena beratur nak boarding semula utk ke top station.

From the top station, you can have your breakfast at their cafe. Also, boleh purchase ticket utk ke SkyBridge. Harga tiket ke SkyBridge cuma RM5 per person, through Nature Walk where you have to walk/climb a bit the staircase for about 300m to the SkyBridge.

Otherwise, boleh choose utk naik SkyGlider. The price I am not sure sgt sbb we all mmg option for Nature Walk, coz both of us love the nature.

It was windy and breeze and the sun just set up, so we really enjoy our experience up there. the tips is, pergi awal pagi!

Since we did not have a proper breakfast, so we did have a short breakfast stop on the skybridge!

He is so cool. tak gayat langsung.

By the time we reach down at the entrance of the skycab, the lines are getting longer. It was aboud 10.45am when we reached down.

Along the way sepanjang dekat skycab and skybridge, akan ada banyak photo points, where the staff will take our family photo and print it. they also print it on mugs, thumblers, etc. the price is of course a bit pricey. and you can choose to buy all of them in combo package or you can also choose not to buy. it's up to you but just bare in mind, since before boarding sampai la dekat nak turun, mmg banyak offers for our photos printed on the merchandise + frame. 

Ok that's all for skybridge. lepas ni we all pergi 3D musuem and SkyRex pulak.

Langkawi 2018: De Baron Resort, Kuah

I dah booking De Baron Resort.  Booking through Booking.com. 

Amik family room, excluding breakfast. dapat rm210 per night. ok la tu. Bilik luas dan selesa. I recommend hotel ni sbb location dia mmg mudah nak cari kedai makan, farmasi, dekat dgn RAMS (also good place for shopping barang letrik, pinggan mangkuk, periuk belanga and coklat). and also dkt night market.

Worth it la. view pon not bad. 

Lepas rehat and solat, bawa anak2 ke pool.

Ni view Harbour Kuah dari resort. 

Nice view, kalau waktu sunset. 

Cuma pantai dia sikit and tak berapa bersih sbb dkt dgn tpt ferry and kapal layar berlabuh.

dari sini boleh nampak dataran lang jugak, so mmg sgt dkt dengan jetty kuah.

Cuaca kat Langkawi mmg dah terkenal panas and kering. Time ni dh lepas 5.30 tp matahari terik lagi. Anak2 mandi pool dgn ayah dorg. I malas nak mandi sbb ramai sgt.

ada 2 slides besar. puas jugak la budak2 bermain.

lepas mandi, semua dah kelaparan. so dorg makan biskut2 yg dah bawa dulu. 

plan nya nak makan malam kat wan thai restaurant yg famous. tp seating full and kena tnggu one hr nak dpt makanan. sbb dah lpar, kitaorg makan kat kedai thai lain. 

tp puas hati jugak sbb sedap and portion yg besar. 

lepas dah habis makan,terus ke HIG complex.

Shopping bag, tea set and coklat. 

ni baru 1st round shopping. orang ramai sgt kat HIG complex so x sempat amik gambar. 

settle shopping at about 9.30 terus balik hotel and zzzzz..

end of day 1. 

Langkawi 2018 : Day 1 (Jetty and Ferry)

Hello semua. Assalamualaikum. 

I am very teruja nak update blog pasal our latest holiday in Langkawi. Sebenarnya, this holiday is a real need for all five of us. Last yr hujung tahun, kitaorg x bercuti ke mana. cuma balik kampung, and ke hotel atas urusan kerja je. Anak2 pon x kemana. Tapi kids kan, dorang x pandai complaint kata nak bercuti or anything. dpt mandi swimming pool dorang dah happy. So masuk bulan Jan aritu, we started to think maybe perlu jugak take a break. So, decided ke Langkawi. Booking hotel, ticket ferry roro and cable car/skycab kitaorg buat sebelum pergi. 

So pada hari kejadian, kitaorg bertolak from rumah my parents dkt BM. pukul 9pg baru keluar rumah sbb x jauh sgt penang ke kuala perlis. kitaorg amik ferry roro. yg boleh bawa kereta naik skali. jadi dkt langkawi tak perlu sewa kereta dah. nnt i citer procedures utk bawa kereta masuk ke langkawi. 

We all sampai jetty kuala perlis around 11.30am. Register kereta and amik tiket. pukul 12.40 baru nak mula boarding masuk ferry. 1.30 baru ferry nak jalan. So mmg ada banyak masa. Kitaorg decide pergi Muzium Kota Kayang dulu. 5km dari jetty kuala perlis.

Masa kitaorg sampai kat sini, takde pengunjung and takde taker pon. We all masuk je la. Muzium ni fully aircond and selesa. Belakang muzium ada taman kecik, sesuai for picnic if x panas. 

Ilyaas mmg skrg stage nak tahu banyak benda so muzium is a good way to kill his queries. and he is currently into any kind of weapons. So mmg dia baca every single descriptions about keris, tombak, badik etc yg ada dlm muzium tu. 

After dah settle tgk2 kat sini, kitaorg proceed for lunch kat restoran nelayan tepi jetty tu. 

I makan laksa. 

Kecewa. 

X sedap mcm dulu. 

Kuah dia cair je. 

Lepas tu kitaorg terus ke jetty kargo then dan mula boarding. 

Kerata semua kena park kat level 1. 

Penumpang boleh duduk kt level 2 and 3. 

level 2 bertutup, ada aircond and tv. also ada surau and small kiosk jual makanan ringan.

Ni dekat level 2 dlm ferry roro. 

kat level 3 open air, so best dpt angin laut.

Once sampai Langkawi, we all arrive dkt jetty area Bukit Malut. Tak sama dgn jetty kuah. 

So less sesak and cepat je urusan. Terus ke hotel.
